Inga Elín

The artist behind the pieces.

Born in Reykjavík, Inga Elín has worked with ceramics since the age of twelve.

She discovered her love of clay at the Reykjavík School of Arts and continued her art education in Iceland.

She later studied ceramics and glass design in Denmark. Her graduation project, a collection of handblown glassware and porcelain cups, received an award from Queen Margrethe of Denmark.

Simple forms.
Rich textures.

Inga’s varied and ever-changing work ranges from playful animal sculptures to everyday objects, pairing simple forms with richly textured surfaces.
